This is a project that I can do anywhere and everywhere the sun shines, though it prefers places where the sun burns hot and bright. These images show that the color the sun prefers is actually blue. When the sun burns on printed material it burns the warmer colors first. It absorbs the color that it is: the oranges, reds, browns. And it leaves the color it isn’t: the highly specific ultra blue of printed material. This is the color that the sun prefers.
You can see it everywhere. On sign posts, in shop windows, on the sides of buildings. It is everywhere. Though taste changes from one place and one time to the next, wherever the sun shines this is the blue that all pictures become.
