| an afternoon walk, tamatert, morocco
On arriving at Tamatert on a warm afternoon, we took a walk through the town.
Up past the mosque to the irrigation canal, to where we could see the river down through the trees curling to Imlil.
And then up to the road above the village, and back down via the path beside the dry stone bed, down into the valley.
People ran past, carrying groceries, leading mules.
And the sun went down, the air got cold, and someone called us to dinner.
